Government watch is a new initiative of the Lithuanian Free Market Institute, aimed at raising public awareness about bills and legislative proposals.
Our primary goal is to offer an independent and critical review of pending bills and laws that are under consideration in the parliament, to initiate well-informed public debate and to make a constructive impact on the law-making process.
LFMI policy analysts provide a brief or extended overview and assessment of current bills in terms of their impact on economic freedom.
Government watch is targeted at policy and law makers, opinion leaders, lawyers, journalists, business people and the general public.
Government watchdog comments and responses from LFMI can be found in Lithuanian HERE.
