The Lithuanian Free Market Institute’s (LFMI) project “Better Laws for Better Lives” receives high evaluation in The Regional Liberty Awards. Consequently, other global think tanks recognized LFMI’s efforts in fostering effective legislation. The US-based non-governmental organization Atlas Network organizes The Regional Liberty Awards annually. In fact, this year LFMI’s project won the 2021 Europe Think Tank Shark Tank nomination.

According to LFMI Vice-President Aneta Vainė who presented the project, the aim of the initiative is to improve the legislative process by urging legislators to pay more attention to the impact of legislation on society.

Each year, The Regional Liberty Awards honor think tanks that strengthen confidence in the free market, call for public policies that increase public welfare, and foster innovation in a competitive environment.
