Kotryna has led the Institute’s communications since early 2021. Prior to that, she spent five years working in the media, gaining most of her experience at one of the country’s most influential political and economic magazines, where she wrote analytical articles on politics, economics, and international relations.
Earlier in her career, Kotryna was actively involved in youth policy. She served on the boards of the Lithuanian Liberal Youth, the Lithuanian Youth Council, and the organization “European Students for Liberty.” She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Institute of International Relations and Political Science at Vilnius University.
In her free time, Kotryna enjoys spending time at her family’s countryside homesteads, doing various handicrafts, and baking cookies and cakes, which she happily shares with family, friends, and like-minded people.
Kotryna:“Freedom, above all, is the ability to think and make decisions independently, without anyone else imposing their will.”
