Shadow Economy

Lithuanian Shadow Economy is the first periodical of its kind in the country, dedicated to analysing one of the most pressing problems in Lithuania – the shadow economy, its scale, causes and consequences. Research data and insights are worth getting acquainted with for employees of state institutions, politicians, representatives of the private sector and every resident. Each issue of the publication examines a different area of the shadow economy (excise goods market, shadow labour market) and presents general trends of the shadow economy in Lithuania and Europe. The research methods used allow us to provide new, accurate data on Lithuania‘s shadow economy. The publication is also unique in that it comprehensively and systematically analyzes the entire formation of the shadow economy, the reasons for its development, and the consequences for Lithuanian business and society.
