5,000 New Textbooks on Economics Reach High Schools across Lithuania

Over 200 high schools across Lithuania will start the upcoming school year with LFMI’s brand new textbook Economics in 31 Hours for 9-10 grade students.

After a pilot project with 1,350 students, 28 teachers and some of the most prominent Lithuanian educationalists, the textbook aroused a huge interest across Lithuania and has been printed in an edition of 5,000.

This new generation textbook combines theoretical material and practical tasks on the key issues of economics with the aim to encourage critical thought of young people when it comes to the evaluation of economic phenomena. Moreover, it comes with a unique interactive teaching platform for teachers of economics that provides additional tasks, statistics, video lessons and articles on the most recent economic realities.
