Lithuania is in the 26th position out of 183 evaluated countries according to the results of the research Doing Business. As compared to last year Lithuania went down by one position. It means that business conditions don’t get better for some time: as compared to 2008 business conditions have not changed and started to get worse in 2009. LFMI’s Policy Analyst Vytautas Žukauskas says that the country is evaluated lower due to regulations in some areas.
