LFMI’s comments on the National Renewable Energy Action Plan for the Period 2010-2020

LFMI has analysed the National Renewable Energy Action Plan for 2010-2020 and submitted its recommendations. First, LFMI proposes to limit CO2 emissions to the minimal level which Lithuania is obliged to achieve. Second, the use of cost-inefficient renewable resources must be increased to the minimal level which Lithuania is obliged to achieve. An up to ten-percent increase in the use of renewable resources in transport should be planned. Third, LFMI recommends removing measures from the action plan as the cost of their implementation would fall directly on the private sector.
