In a commentary published in the daily Lietuvos Žinios, LFMI’s President Rūta Vainienė speaks about the laws which contain loopholes, provoking criminal behaviour in people. Such people are mothers who fiddle their actual wages by raising them as to receive higher maternity allowances; a singer who attempts at appropriating EU money; employers who pay wages in “envelopes”; “phoenixes” who rise from the ashes; and so on. All of them wouldn’t be in danger of prison, if laws didn’t contain errors and if these errors were removed at once when they are noticed.
