On May 25th LFMI analyst Julija Simionenko-Kovacs gave a lecture to Kaunas Technical University students in their Engineering economics class. Her topic was “Investment-positive environment: why is it important and how can we create it?”
“Contrary to popular belief, investment, not consumer spending, drives the economy. The benefits of investment are not limited to profits. Investment benefits the whole economy. In order to create a favorable investment environment it is not enough to rely on financial incentives, advertising or public investment programs. Government needs to create conditions that would attract private investors, regardless of their origin” – says Julija Simionenko-Kovacs
Lecture was held at KTU Mechanical engineering and design department.
