Limited company liability – a right or a privilege?

Commentary by the LFMI policy analyst Vytautas Žukauskas, published in the news portal Delfi.lt, discuss the laws on limited company liability and whether they are necessary at all. Despite the fact that limited company liability has long been consolidated by laws, it could just as well work in the market, in various forms and levels, without them, on the basis of voluntary agreements. With people agreeing on it, limited liability could be more flexible and more adjusted to the needs of people and companies.
