Lithuania Fell Down by 9 Positions in the Global Competitiveness Index

Lithuania received 4.3 points out of 7 and was placed in 53rd out of 133 in Global Competitiveness Index.  The evaluation of the country is declining for the second year in course and when compared to 2008, Lithuania fell down by 9 positions in 2009.  LFMI’s Policy Analyst Vytautas Žukauskas comments that such results were determined by moderate decrease in many areas.
