Lithuania‘s Evaluation in Global Index on Economic Freedom Has Decreased by 4 Points

This year Lithuania was evaluated by 7.4 points and took the 35th place out of 141 in Global Index on Economic Freedom. Last year Lithuania was in the 31st place.  LFMI’s Policy Analyst Vytautas Žukauskas suggests that the evaluation of economic freedom in Lithuania was determined not by lower evaluation of concrete areas but by staying in the same position: the country received a similar amount of points last year but the relative evaluation went down because other countries were evaluated better.
