Politicians compete who will devise the most inventive proposal, believing that only overly complex, mazy and fabled solutions are effective. Sometimes they themselves don’t believe in such solutions, but their experience tells them that high-sounding, new and ingeniously looking proposals will help achieve higher rankings.
