Press Release: LFMI Prompts the Government to Improve the Draft Law on the State Budget for 2010 by Decreasing Spending to the Level of 2006

According to LFMI the core faults of the draft law on the State Budget for 2010 are the lack of transparency and inefficient allocation of resources. The funds are distributed to institutions rather than programmes. In addition, the Government proposes a record deficit. Therefore it is necessary to return the draft law on the State Budget for 2010 to the Government for improvement. In order to illustrate government spending, LFMI presents the Spendometer of the National Budget Expenditure that measures spending in real time.
