Left to Repeat the Course

The current state budget needs changes.  Money should be allocated according to clear priorities known in advance and in the event there is not enough income, programs that are not underlying should be receded instead of raising taxes or borrowing.   The Government has some time before submitting the Law on National and Municipal Budgets for 2010 to the Parliament. Will the funds be lower to the programs the performers of which manipulate indicators to be reached, target the results that are already achieved and spend billion of Litas ineffectively?  LFMI’s President Rūta Vainienė commented these issues on the Lithuanian Radio.
