Liberty studies

From 2004 to 2012 LFMI had been holding a writing contest called ‘’Liberty studies“, which had attracted more than 150 works, and top 20 authors had been awarded.

The aim of an essay contest was to deepen the understanding of social and economic laws concerning the life of society, to encourage individual freedom as a phenomenon that requires human understanding of the social and economic laws, examine the traditions of Lithuanian higher education.

Also to encourage the examination of social and economic laws’ functionality in economics, law, morality, or other fields, teach how to understand the motivations of people in socio-economic activities and induce the realization that people’s goals and diversity of values ​​ not disturb, but on the contrary – support a smooth coexistence in the society.
