LFMI work for public principles

Principles that LFMI’s work for public is based on:

  • Neutrality in the media, attention to the facts and analysis, not to scandals, personalities or politicking.
  • LFMI comments political economy and conditions for economic decisions in the market, not the business decisions of the separate market participants.
  • LFMI rise the issues that market participants are facing, however, do not support market participants when later want exclusive rights and privileges.
  • LFMI aim for attention and actively publicize the works made in their analysed fields. LFMI holds the right not to comment the issues that are not related to their analysed fields.
  • LFMI do not comment for customized (commercial) articles or supplements of publications, when it is asked to advertise a specific enterprise or a product. However, LFMI can consider the possibility to comment if those articles will examine a common, related to LFMI’s work, important problem.
  • LFMI do not comment to customized, however, not labelled as commercial articles, also articles signed with pseudonyms.
  • LFMI do not comment publicly, introduce for the government institutions, release on the Internet commercial articles that are made not according to their strategic plans, however, can say their opinion about general problem associated with this work if approached by journalists or government officials.
  • The representatives of LFMI do not participate in the press conferences organized by enterprises or political parties, do not comment their press releases. Nonetheless, LFMI can participate in press conferences (and all other public events) along with other non-governmental organizations or associations when it is related with very important and broad issues. The experts from LFMI also comment to other organizations’ propagated messages when it is related with the events where the representatives from LFMI participate as speakers.
  • LFMI communicate with the media and present their work to the society directly, not through PR agencies. However, if competitors of LFMI organize the event sponsored by a private enterprise, its PR department or agency can implement a public campaign of that event (accommodating it with LFMI PR representatives beforehand).
  • LFMI do not give PR services to private enterprises and their PR representatives, do not mediate between the media and government officials.
  • LFMI was always the provider of information and independent opinion, not the advertiser.
  • LFMI give consultations and the explanation from the experts to journalists, however, do not try to be cited on purpose.
  • LFMI do not prepare and present the general stance along with specific market participants to the government officials.
  • While participating in work groups to make law legislations or asked by the government officials to give notes to law act that is being processed, the representatives of LFMI do not publicly comment draft legislations and not publish their work on the Internet until they are made public.
